These resources are listed below and are divided by those that are accessible from home and those that are accessible only by MLC staff or in the Commission. Ancestry Library Edition
A genealogical tool that contains 1.5 billion names in over 4000 databases, including the United States Census and the Social Security Death Index.
Fulltext Sources Online
An index that provides information on which databases contain certain periodicals.
Legal Forms
Mississippi-specific legal forms. Includes divorce, name changes, lease agreements, power of attorney, wills, and more.
Lexis+
Cases, rulings, and law review articles for Federal and state cases. Comprehensive state government information, including state legislation, constitutions, proposed and enacted regulations, and more.
Library Literature Retrospective
An index of journal articles and book chapters in the field of library and information science from 1905-1983.
Newspapers.com
Online, text-searchable database of newspapers from around the world. Holdings range from 1850 to the present.
Nonfiction Core Collection
Provides titles at three recommendation levels of the most highly-recommended reference and non-fiction books for adults.
